Upcoming Events
Masters Leg 1, DGL Leg 2 and the DGL Sapphire series are all happening, but if you want something else, you need look no further than these upcoming events and tournaments:
- Xbox Playdates ZA is For Honor tonight (Thursday 9 March) from 8pm, where you can join fellow South Africans as they pretend to be Knights, Viking and Samurai. Additional information can be found here.
- Crown the King is hosting a FIFA 17 tournament at Gus’s Place in Potchefstroom on Saturday 11 March from 10am. Entry is R100 and there is R1,000 cash up for grabs. Head to the event page for additional information.
- In Ghana the FIFA 17 Champion of Champions tournament by Madagastargh is still underway. For additional details, you should head here.
- MettleState kick off their streams of the R1 million Samsung Galaxy CSGO Championship on Monday (13 March). Details can be found below, but you should tune in and watch the action here.

MettleState
MettleState have announced the format, schedule and streaming information for their R1 milion CS:GO tournament. 24 teams will be battling it out via a group phase that kicks off on 13 March. The action will be available via their Twitch channel every Monday and Wednesday.
The tournament culminates in a LAN final from 4 to 7 May.

Spartan Esports
If that’s not enough tournaments for your taste, Spartan Esports have their Spartan Gaming League registrations open until 2 April. The titles on offer are CS:GO and Dota 2 with an entry fee of R250 per team all contributing to the prize pool.
