Upcoming Events

Alongside the upcoming single events, Telkom DGL continues with the Masters Leg 1, the DGL Leg 1 and the Emerald Series. If you’re not involved with any of those, maybe you could consider these:

  • Xbox Playdates ZA is hosting a Halo 5 playdate on Thursday (2 February) from 8pm. If you feel like a little Red on Blue action with fellow South Africans, you can find details are available here.
  • GAC LAN kicks off their 2017 with a LAN from Friday (3 February) at 5pm until Sunday morning. Entry is R200/R220 at Theo Marais Park in Milnerton. Additional information is available here.
  • Kosta Games get their year off with their FIFA 17 tournament on Saturday (4 February). The event starts at 12pm at the Epic Lounge in Ormonde. The cash prize pool totals R3,000 with pre-registration costing R180. Additional information can be found here.

Spartan Gaming League

If you’re looking for some Dota 2 action in April, then Spartan Gaming League has you covered. The organisation will be hosting their ‘Fall Leg’ from 3 April until 30 April 2017 with an unconfirmed cash prize pool of R6,000.

Registrations open on 6 February 2017 and are set to be capped at 32 teams. The tournament will feature a group phase into playoffs and interested teams should keep their eye on the tournament page here.
