We actually spotted a few days ago on BTGames, a listing for Resistance Trilogy, and even thought what a great package that’ll be. What we didn’t realise is the reason why we hadn’t heard of it before is because it was not actually announced.
CVG has now also spotted a French Amazon listing for the same package dated for May.
CVG also report that the Insomniac Games CEO Ted Price has previously said the developer won’t be making any more games in the series. Price explained that the series has reached its “logical conclusion in terms of the story that we wanted to tell”.
Price did add that this did not mean that the Resistance franchise isn’t continuing.
“It’s already in the capable hands of Nihilistic and with Sony’s shepherding we know that it will continue to live on and expand.”
