rAge is around the corner…

… unless you live anywhere except within a 2km radius from the Coca-Cola Dome of course.

South Africa’s “really Awesome gaming expo” is happening next weekend for those that have been worrying more about things like their Borderlands 2 being delayed and promises to be (most probably) bigger and better than all of the previous year’s events put together.  We will be there, looking silly and confused, but there will be more to see and do than poke us zombies with a stick.

There will be – and we quote from the Press Release – “the latest technological developments, new and pre-released games on console and pc, the hottest consoles, creative-arts learning opportunities, product launches, competitions and giveaways, exclusive presentations by international game developers, and so much more.”

The complete list of the over 60 exhibitors can be found here, and the good folk over at NAG have highlighted their, erm, highlights for the expo.

Dates:  05-07 October 2012

Expo Times:  Friday: 10:00 – 18:00 | Saturday: 09:00 – 18:00 | Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00

Venue:  Coca Cola Dome, Johannesburg

Admission:  Per person: R60  |   Weekend ticket: R100  |  Family pass (two adults and two children): R180  |   Kids under 6: Free  |  NAG LAN ticket: R350

Tickets can be bought at Computicket, but we believe the LAN might already be sold out.

You can also keep up to date with the expo via their official website, Twitter account or Facebook Page.  Or we might just let you know too.

And to get you even more enthused, the only little wub-wub wobot that matters – Claptrap – has a message for you all.

If you still feel a little undecided, check out last year’s official rAge video.
