MCV has reported the price and release date for Project Natal.
The motion-sensing hardware is being planned for release in November 2010 and will cost less than £50 or around 616 of today’s South African Rands – obviously this is unconfirmed and to be honest, the cynical South African will add a one in front of the 616.
The Pound price point seems very reasonable for Project Natal, as I, along with most industry analysts expected it to weigh in at a higher price. It is expected that five million Natal units will be shipped worldwide along with 14 Natal ready titles, but these are still to be confirmed.
So, who’s looking forward to acting the fool in front of your TV? At least there is unlikely to be any TV, meet controller incidents this time…
