Cape Town-20140518-00063Haha, gamers, you know we’re only featuring you to get better acquainted with your habits. Knowledge will be power in the zombie apocalypse, and we’re building quite a database of information on you all…

Like today’s gamer, Faheem Classen, also known as H33MO.

Go ahead. Introduce yourself. Don’t be shy.

Hey, I’m Faheem Classen “H33MO’’. From Cape Town. I’m a huge gamer, I’m a metalhead, and a musician as well. Buy me luxuries and I’ll be your best friend haha. Ah yes, nearly forgot I have my own YouTube channel “H33MO”.

What’s you platform of choice? Why?

Well I’m more of a console gamer, so I prefer the playstaion brand. I grew up with the PS brand so I hold it dearly to my heart.

Can you remember the first time you ‘gamed’?

Yeah I can, I’ve gamed before the PlayStation brand was there. I use to game on those Famicoms. And I had an Atari 2600.

How long have you been gaming?

Well I grew up in a gamer family so I’m gaming around 1993, and I was 3 years old then. Had that Famicom, so it could be 22 years? Man I’m getting old!! That’s nearly my whole life.

When do you think you’ll stop gaming?

Well never. I mean which gamer would ever want to stop?

Are you a serious gamer? Or do you enjoy a laugh?

I’m both actually, I can be very serious when I game against other gamers online, And when I jam with friends for example GTA V there’s always laughs etc.

Singleplayer or multiplayer?

You know, at first I was all about single player, don’t get me wrong I loved Multiplayer as well, but those were the couch multiplayer days. And then online multiplayer became a thing and I hated it, because dev’s stopped making couch MP games, but now….now I love it. So multiplayer for me.

Is playing online important to you?

Very important, I can’t live without it.

Are you a member of a clan? Who are they and why?

Well I use to be part of a few clans, but yeah either they disband or something.

Favourite game currently?

Well right now I have a few actually: SMITE on PC and Hearthstone. And on the console would be BLOODBORNE.

Do you have any hobbies outside of gaming? What?

Yeah I’m a musician. I’m a lead guitarist for a metal band called “Eyes of Heimdall” and I have my own YouTube channel going, “H33MO” and very soon myself and a few buddies will be teaming up to bring a new gaming channel on YouTube called “The Gamer Lounge”.

You’re stranded on a desert island and a genie grants you five items. Name them:

A game: BloodBorne
A CD: Amon Amarth : Twilight of the Thundergod
A movie or TV series: Robocop 1 and 2
An organic life form: My cat ODIN!
Something edible or drinkable: lots of Coke (the drink).

What’s the most embarrassing or worst game you’ve ever bought or received as a gift?

Well recently my sister bought me Evolve….man that game sucks. Played it twice.

If you were a game designer, describe your ultimate game design.

Wow ah, I had this idea last year sometime where it would be cool to have something like Destiny with the jet packs but armor from the medieval era. Hellgate London meets Destiny.

The zombie apocalypse has happened. You’re facing down a ravenous zombie horde (which may or may not include members of ZG in bikinis). What weapon do you grab?

Well I’m a fan of the…wait did you say members of ZG in bikinis?? There’s chicks??? OK… back to what I was saying, I’m a fan of the whole zombie apocalypse concept and I love the sound when a hammer or a bat crushes a zombie head, but I think I’ll go with a sword.

In the aforementioned zombie apocalypse you humans are all toast. Become a turncoat and assist the superior zombies or stay with the soon to be wiped out human resistance?

Looooool not if I’m around, I’ll be called Milla Jovovich when I’m done with you. Funny? No? OK!

Thanks for taking the time to answer our silly questions. What game are you off to play now that you’re done?

Well I’ve been seeing cards in my head the whole time, guess I’ll be off to Heartstone for a while. Cheers.
