Jaguar Land Rover Comes On Board As Presenting Sponsor For The First Kid-Focused Convention in Africa – KidsCon
Reed Exhibitions Africa and ReedPOP are very excited and proud to announce that Jaguar Land Rover has come on board as the presenting sponsor for the first ever kid-focused convention in Africa, KidsCon!
This serves as an exciting and unique opportunity for the two premium brands to provide an entry point into their worlds. For both youth and family markets, KidsCon gives them a chance to have a taste of what both the brands can offer.
“We don’t only sell amazing vehicles,” says Lisa Mallett, Marketing Director of Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and Sub-Sahara Africa. “A key focus for us is on the lifestyles we can offer our customers. Jaguar and Land Rover both create unique experiences that families can fall in love with.”
Along with the Jaguar Land Rover branded goods, which will be on sale at KidsCon, a number of exciting activities have been arranged for children to experience the thrill and technology of Jaguar, and adventurous nature of Land Rover.
“Many of the vehicles we offer are designed with little ones in mind, but the way we do business needs to be as family-friendly as our vehicles,” says Mallett. “Our new EXPERIENCE Johannesburg facility in Lonehill caters to all age groups with a host of exciting activities aimed specifically at kids. We hope this new lifestyle centre will leave as lasting an impression on youngsters as we know the KidsCon event will.”
What to expect from Jaguar Land Rover at KidsCon
- Giveaways for young adventurers willing to get their hands dirty

Jaguar Land Rover EXPERIENCE Johannesburg
EXPERIENCE Johannesburg is comprised of various tracks, as well as a beautiful restaurant overlooking all the activities, complete with a kiddies play area. For the youngest of fans there are miniature battery-operated F-TYPES, which kids up to the age of 4 can take on the pint-sized “Growlers” Track. Kids from 3-12 years old can also gain some early off-roading skills at the wheels of quarter-scale electric Land Rover Defenders on a purpose-built off-road track.
