Xbox and BT Games have partnered up to give one winner the “trip of a lifetime”. You will need to head into a BT Games store or go online and pre-order the game to get your entry started. Once you’ve completed the entry form, you will need to wait until the random draw is done, and you may be heading to Germany expenses paid and with $5000 in your pocket.
Just remember to keep your Gears of War Judgment receipt as a proof of pre-order or you might just find yourself disappointed…
You may even bump in to a group of fellow South Africans who won the Halo 4 tournament recently and will also be heading to Gamescom.
The prize includes your flights, accommodation with evening meals for four days with transfers to and from the event as well as $5000 spending money (45,811.12 ZAR). You may be asking yourself what you need to do to win this prize. Well it’s incredibly simple; all you need to do is pre-order a copy of Gears of War: Judgment from BT Games (Online or In-store). Individuals will then receive an email from BT Games with a link to an entry form which must be completed and submitted online. Microsoft will then randomly select a winner; individuals need to remember to keep their receipt of purchase to present to Microsoft South Africa as proof of their pre-order.

Terms and Conditions

- The contest will run from 07 March 2013 until 21 March 2013.
- Winners will be notified by email by 31 March 2013. If a winner cannot be contacted through no fault of Microsoft, within 5 (five) days after the first attempt, the Prize will be awarded to the next randomly drawn entry.
Prize breakdown is as follows:
PRIZES: Prizes are the following: A trip to Gamescom 2013 in Germany for 1 (one) person (including flights, accommodation for 4 (four) days, transfer to and from the airport and Gamescom, entry ticket to Gamescon event, evening meals and US $5000 (five thousand dollars) spending money)
The Prizes are not transferable. No cash alternatives are available. Microsoft reserves the right to substitute the Prizes for other prizes of equal or greater value. All Prizes will be sent to the winners within 30 (thirty) days of notification.
WINNERS LIST: The winners consent to their names being made publicly available. Winner’s names will be available at http://judgmentpreorder.com/ZA for a period of 1 (one) month after the final draw date by email.
SELECTION OF WINNERS: At the conclusion of the Contest, all individuals will enter a draw to win Prizes, as defined hereafter. The winners will be notified by email by 31 March 2013. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, through no fault of Microsoft, within 5 (five) days after the first attempt, the Prize will be awarded to the next randomly drawn entry. The winners may be required to participate in further publicity or advertising.
TIMING: This Contest runs from 08:00:00 a.m. GMT+2 on 7 March 2013 until 5:00:00 p.m. GMT+2 on 21 March 2013 (inclusive).
ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to any resident within South Africa who is 18 years of age or older, excluding Microsoft employees, their agents and their families, and anyone else professionally connected with this Contest.
TO ENTER: To enter the Contest, individuals must participate by purchasing a pre-order copy of the Xbox game “Gears of War Judgment” online at www.btgames.co.za or at one of the BT Games retail stores. Individuals will then receive a link by e-mail to an entry form, which must be completed and submitted online. Microsoft is not responsible for lost, corrupted or delayed entries. A copy of the receipt for the Gears of War Judgment game must be available to be presented to Microsoft, as proof of purchase thereof.
