Pixelated Gaming Xperience | A little more information

For those not aware, Pixelated Gaming Xperience (or PGX if you’re a cool kid) is scheduled to happen at CTICC next weekend and the gaming events promises to be “more than just an exhibition or convention”.

A lot of people are still in the dark as to what exactly can be expected at the event.  In an effort to get as much information about the event as possible, we have harassed the organiser Dayne Völler of Pixelated Consulting and this is what he had to reveal for now:

Playstation have given us hampers to give away, we are also having a best dressed competition so people can come as their favourite gaming/ cult film characters and a big one is that one of the exhibitors will be giving away an i7 Gaming computer to the value of R18 000 at their stand. We also have a Gaming Development Corner, so the public can experience their latest works and unreleased games. And apart from the PC and Console LAN, there will a Wii Championship for the general public to participate in over the course of the weekend, with as always, prizes to be won.

Hopefully, we can get a little more from the information drip feed before the event kicks off on 7 December…

From the Pixelated Gaming Xperience site:

PGX (Pixelated Gaming Xperience) 7 to 9 December 2012.

In recent years, Cape Town has been starved of an Electronic Entertainment or Gaming Expo and we feel that it is time that we end the wait. With other provinces experiencing Gaming Expo’s, we think it’s about time that Cape Town experience some electronic entertainment.
