PES 2014 secures Argentinian league licenses

Konami has penned a deal with the Argentinian Football Association (AFA) to bring the 20 AFA Primera División Teams and some of the corresponding home stadiums into PES 2014.

Argentinian FOX Sports announcers, Mariano Closs and Fernando Niembro will commentate for the league.

Top teams River Plate, Boca Juniors, Newell’s Old Boys and Racing will all feature.

The 20 Primera División teams include:

Colón
Estudiantes
Gimnasia y Esgrima

Newell’s Old Boys

Konami also promise that PES 2014 will mark “a new beginning for the series,” with its new FOX engine “allowing for the most comprehensive advance in the PES franchise since its inception.”

PES 2014 will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows PC and PSP.
