The Obsidian Kickstarter for a new RPG – Project Eternity – has achieved the required funding in just three days.

Asking for $1.1 million, Obsidian has already raked in $1.4 million from eager fans, and the Kickstarter campaign still has 29 days to go. The studio teased a new project on a countdown site, dropping hints and resulting in the Kickstarter reveal this past Friday.

Obsidian has listed the development milestones, that the studio can achieve as the funding increases. If the project reaches $2.4 million or more, there could be no DRM.

Obsidian’s Adam Brennecke recorded a video to thank supporters. You can also see the list of the funding development goals on the Kickstarter page.
