Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata has revealed that Nintendo is planning to release titles regularly for the upcoming 3DS handheld and side-step any issues which could slow down momentum.
He also admitted that with DS and Wii hardware sales slowed when the release schedule of titles slowed down and he doesn’t want the same to happen with the 3DS.
Andriasang report that Iwata told the Nihon Keizai Shimbun that it’s “important that you be able to supply software with no pause,” and “With the DS and Wii, following the titles that were released at launch, the momentum dropped when there was a gap in software releases. We’re making plans so that this type of thing won’t happen.”
