**ORIGINAL STORY**
The next free title in Microsoft’s Games with Gold program is Xbox Live Arcade title Defense Grid: The Grid.
Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download the game for free from today until 15th July, Major Nelson revealed.
I have to say though, the program has thus far been no PS Plus rival. That is not to say the title is no good, but it is four years old, and would previously cost you 800 MS points.
So far there has been no indication of newer titles being released as is the case with PS Plus. Assassin’s Creed 2 and Halo 3 were mentioned to be on the free list, so it’s a “small” olive branch.
PS Plus has dropped the latest in the inFamous, Hitman and LittleBigPlanet series’ to name but a few.
