Next Assassin’s Creed Should Be “Biggest Yet”

The Assassin’s Creed titles have never been the smallest of games, spanning across large, historic cities and each sequel has offered more than the previous. So fans will be glad to hear that Ubisoft has hinted that the next game in the franchise  could be the “biggest one yet.”

“We’re confident that the next instalment of Assassin’s Creed will be the biggest to date,” Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot told MCV.

Guillemot praised the franchise and highlighted the importance of the franchise to Ubisoft. The publisher has high expectations that it will continue to grow, and are pleased with the success the Assassin’s Creed games have enjoyed thus far.

Guillemot also mentioned the importance of delivering regular installments while also expanding the brand  and attracting new fans by releasing the Assassin’s Creed titles to other platforms – like taking full advantage of the PS Vita for example.

While there is no confirmation from Ubisoft about the next Assassin’s Creed game for major consoles, speculation says it could be released before December this year, and could even feature a brand new character. A Victorian England or Medieval China has also been hinted at for the game’s world.
