Breakfast Wrap 01Happy first day of a brand new week!  I’ll bet right now you have found your second reason – to go along with the whole survival thing – to kill a zombie.

Let’s kick off with another devil in disguise then shall we?  A new Army of TWO The Devil’s Cartel video showing how awesome it is to have the right partner at your side.  Pro skaters, Steezus Christ and the McClung Brothers enjoy some schenanigans and split-screen couch co-op at Skullcandy’s gaming lounge.

Rumour has it – although it’s based on “sources” – that Sony is working on doing away with the DualShock controller for the (still not confirmed, but often rumoured…) PS4.  It appears that versions of the new PS4 pad include biometric sensors on the grips and an LCD touch screen.  Sony remains mum on the rumour.

Sticking with current gen, it appears that at long last, the DLC for Skyrim will make it to the PS3.  Sony has announced that the three existing add-on packs (Hearthfire, Dragonborn and Dawnguard) for Bethesda’s RPG will finally arrive on PS3 by February.  While no fixed date of release has been announced, Sony did say that each add-on will be discounted by 50 per cent during launch week.

In an interview with Official PlayStation Magazine, BioShock Infinite‘s Ken Levine revealed that religious content in the game was altered.  The decision was made after “conversations with religious people on the team”.

Remember that game Too Human?  Well, it’s been pulled from the Xbox Live Marketplace in case you still had thoughts of buying it.  The game has been pulled after Silicon Knights lost a lengthy legal battle with Epic Games over the use of the Unreal Engine 3 in the game.  Don’t worry though… looking back, the game was a little crap anyway.

I’d rather use the 1600MS Points Microsoft are offering as a pre-order incentive on better quality current games.  To score the incentive, you need to pre-order one of a small selection of major upcoming Xbox games on their Microsoft Store site.  South Africans probably shouldn’t get excited though as it appears to be US only.  Games available for the deal include GTA V, BioShock Infinite and Dead Space 3, along with a few more.

If you’re a numbers person.  Get your head around this.  DotA 2 has passed 3 million unique users in one month.  Who says free doesn’t pay?

A company that probably hates numbers (or lack thereof) these days is Blockbuster.  The retailers administrator is preparing to close 129 stores across the UK as the restructuring begins.  This is on top of the 31 stores already planned for closing and could mean 760 workers losing their jobs.   The only ‘positive’ part of this sad saga is that 368 outlets will still remain and operate… for now at least.

To finish with, some videos and trailers to enjoy with your coffee.
