Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will be dropping new content and and a new patch for Xbox 360 next week, while PS3 gamers can get their Face-Off from tomorrow.
Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin tweeted regarding the Xbox 360 DLC: “The next ?#MW3? Elite Premium drop for Xbox 360 comes out 6/19. Details on the content will be posted on 6/18.” What is currently known is that players will gain access to three pieces of content – a new map, a new mission, and another “classified” download.
In response to a followers query regarding an Xbox 360 patch meant to be out today, he responded: “No…It’s next week for Xbox.”
Meanwhile on Sony’s platform, Infinity Ward would like to remind PS3 Elite subscribers that their next content drop happens tomorrow and that everyone else on PSN can get Face-Off mode with two maps on Friday.

PS3 Patch 1.15 goes live 14 June. Full release notes via the Call of Duty Community Blog:
- 400 new ranks included in 5 new prestige levels (prestige 16 through 20)
- Dead Man’s Hand now has a reduced explosive radius
- Dragunov rebalance– we reduced the recoil
- Fixed Dead Silence / Sitrep Pro issue with Specialist class (you can’t hear your own footsteps anymore)
- Blast Shield is now buffed in hardcore modes
- Fixed an issue where some “defense” kills were not incrementing on the leaderboard
- Fix for rapid fire glitch (semi-automatic weapons can’t gain rapid fire and unlimited ammo anymore)
- Increased damage reduction for Blast Shield in Hardcore modes
- Fix for Kill Confirmed: Update the player score before updating the team score
- Competition Mode added to System Link (LAN parties!)
