Images – apparently snapped at this weekend’s Comic-Con – reveal that the next Metal Gear Solid is in the works and is actually the mysterious Project OGRE.
Obviously, one should treat anything like this as a rumour until confirmed by those closest to the project.
The images of the game’s title sequence reveal that Metal Gear Solid 5 is Project OGRE, and that “OGRE” stands for “Open Ground Reconnaissance Endeavors”. Below the title is the cryptic line: “the moment we were cast out of heaven, we became monsters.”
The pictures look authentically phone camera quality from a TV screen, but as mentioned, let’s wait and see if official confirmation is forthcoming.
