The quite wonderful Mass Effect 2 continues to receive pretty decent after sales support. In this case some more DLC and, for the more intellectual among you, a sci-fi novel.
The DLC, called Lair of the Shadow Broker, will see NPC from Mass Effect 2, but playable character from Mass Effect (1), Liara T’Soni return as a playable character.
The official blurb reads: “Two years ago, Commander Shepard died and Liara T’Soni fought in a desperate struggle against the Shadow Broker to recover her former Commander. Now that Shepard is back, it’s time to even the score.”
There is no news on a date or a price but we will let you know when we do.
For the bookworms, it has been confirmed that there’s a fourth Mass Effect novel in the works, which will be penned by sci-fi novelist William C. Dietz.
No other details other than he’d be submitting it to his publisher in early 2011 – hopefully around the same time Mass Effect 3 arrives…
