Homefront: The Revolution gets new devs as Deep Silver buys IP from Crytek

Homefront: The Revolution will no longer be developed by Crytek as Deep Silver has now purchased the IP.

Polygon report that Deep Silver has give Homefront: The Revolution to Dambuster Studios for development.

“We are thrilled to see another great IP joining the Deep Silver universe,” commented Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media, parent company of own Deep Silver.

“We strongly believe in the potential of Homefront: The Revolution and trust in the new team to continue the path they have been walking in the last years.”

Dambuster Studios is a new English studio which was founded specifically to take over development of the Homefront franchise.

Homefront: The Revolution was originally supposed to be co-publish by Deep Silver and Crytek, but Crytek’s recent financial problems has thrown a spanner in the works.
