343 Industries has announced that after Halo 4 (which releases in 2012 and is a direct sequel to Halo 3) there will be a Halo 5 and 6 and that all three will be part of the “Reclaimer’ Trilogy.

Halo 4 will see Master Chief exploring brand new areas with new weapons, vehicles, and enemies. Primarily, it seems like the major focus of the latest game is due to be the ancient race who created the Halo system in the first place: The forerunners.
Frank O’ Conner wouldn’t outright confirm that Forerunners will actually be in the game, but he did explain that you’ll be able to “experience Forerunner architecture when it’s not completely inert and empty.” You do the maths.
