The news sounds rather dodgy – Veteran Halo music composer, Martin O’Donnell has been terminated from Bungie without being given a reason.
O’Donnel took to Twitter to confirm that the board of directors sacked him “without cause”.
@MartyTheElder Tweeted yesterday:
I’m saddened to say that Bungie’s board of directors terminated me without cause on April 11, 2014.
If you’ve played any Halo game until Reach, you will understand why O’Donnell was an award-winning composer. The Halo games’ score was part of what made the Halo experience such a grand experience.
He was also working on Destiny before the termination.
