A new update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection is set to hit today with another scheduled for release next week. Today’s update adds Achievements for Spartan Ops and a few multiplayer ones.

The promised Legendary class weapon for Destiny is now available at the Postmaster.

A number of new discounts have been added to the current PS Store sale. Assassin’s Creed Unity, Hohokum, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, Tales of Xillia 2, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty and EA Sports UFC have all been discounted until 21t January. Details can be found here.

PlayStation Vue – Sony’s cloud TV service – is still planned for release in the first quarter of 2015. It will launch on PS4 and PS3 before heading to the iPad soon after, with more Sony and non-Sony devices to follow later. [More…]


EA is heading to court over a 2010 lawsuit brought against them by around 6,000 retired NFL players. The lawsuit alleges that EA “knowingly and intentionally” used their likenesses in such a way as to avoid having to pay licensing fees. Following an appeal and subsequent rejection, the case will now be heading to court. [More…]
