Games

The number of upcoming cross-play games heading to Xbox One and Windows 10 appears to be on the increase, and one can expect more to appear in the coming months. For now, the confirmed cross-play titles are: #IDARB, Fable Legends, Game 4, Siegecraft Commander and Super Dungeon Bros, with Pinball FX2 being a cross-buy title.

Frontier has said that the Xbox One version of Elite: Dangerous will not be “dumbed down” and will be the same as the PC version of the game. [More…]

While Elite: Dangerous has now been confirmed for the Xbox One and PC, PS4 players can most likely expect the game too once the Xbox One console timed exclusivity has expired. [via Twitter]

Rock Band is back. Harmonix and Mad Catz have announced Rock Band 4 which will release for Xbox One and PS4 later this year. A guitar bundle and a ‘band-in-the-box’ bundle have been announced, but pricing and the exact release date are still to be confirmed. The really good news however is that it will support 2,168 previously released tracks and the last-gen instruments on PS4 and Xbox One. [More…]

GTA Online looks set to offer players plenty of content with the Heists DLC. According to a Games Radar hands-on, there are five ‘major’ heists, which will each take between two and three hours complete, as well as the daily challenges, new Versus modes, and new vehicles and equipment, including a VTOL Hydra jet fighter and night vision goggles.
