How does the Evolve‘s ‘Evacuation’ campaign work? Apparently by way of a “combination of modes, maps, and campaign affects” there are “over 800,000 possible paths, giving you a ridiculous amount of variety for a different experience almost every time you play Evacuation.” You want more on the workings of that, head here.

Dying Light will offer three DLC packs in its $19.99 season pass – which will also be included in the Dying Light Ultimate Edition version. The expansions will be titled ‘Cuisine & Cargo’, ‘Ultimate Survivor Bundle’, and ‘The Bozak Horde’and will also be available as standalone purchases. [More…]

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will become available to purchase digitally on the PlayStation Store on 17 December for the price of €19.99.

The Xbox One version of Limbo will be available from Friday, as will two other ID@Xbox titles – Threes and Boom Ball Kinect. [via Twitter]

A PEGI rating suggests that Resogun may be heading to the PS3. The game – originally release for PS4 – has been confirmed for the PS Vita.

A PlayStation 20th Anniversary sale has kicked off on the EU PS Store. The sale includes classic titles from the PSone, PS2, PS3, PS Vita and PSP era. Full details are available here.

Consoles & Hardware

Free themes have been released for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the PlayStation. The themes feature a ‘PlayStation 20th Anniversary’ logo with the original PlayStation’s colour scheme, and the PS4 theme also plays the original PlayStation startup sound when you turn the system on.

Alongside the themes, Sony has revealed a limited edition PS1-themed PS4 which will be available for pre-order in Japan and North America from Saturday 6 December. [More…]

A new update (2.03) has been released for the PS4. “Operation quality during use of some applications has been improved,” according to PlayStation.

Industry

Microsoft will not be announcing any new Xbox titles at The Game Awards this Friday. [via Twitter]
