January’s ‘Games with Gold‘ games are (if you haven’t spotted the first one on XBL already)… Sleeping Dogs until 16 January, and then Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light for the rest of the month.

It would seem that Dr. Freeze will be part of the new story DLC coming to Batman: Arkham Origins this year. [via AllGamesBeta]

The Last of Us has not been ruled out for the PS4, Naughty Dog reckons we will just need to “see what the future brings”. [via PlayStation Blog]

Activision has pulled all Marvel games from Steam, Xbox Live and PSN with no explanation given. Deadpool, Spider-Man and X-Men titles are affected immediately. [More on CVG]

Titanfall will not launch on 11 March 2014… with mod tools. The addition of mod tools for PC will be evaluated by Respawn after the game launches. [More on Eurogamer]

Warframe has been rated for Xbox One. A release date of 31 December 2013 is indicated, but no confirmation exists. [via AllGamesBeta]

Valhalla Game Studios expects Devil’s Third to be released in 2014. The game is “about 80% complete” according to the developer. [More on CVG]

Microsoft is considering new interactive video games for the Xbox One – similar to 1 v 100. [More on CVG]

You can pick up BioShock Infinite, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Xcom: Enemy Unknown and Dark Souls as part of the final Steam Holiday Sale day which ends at 6pm GMT today.


Microsoft had considered a disc-less Xbox One, changing their mind as late as post-E3 2013. Phil Spencer cited bandwidth issues and game size which led to the inclusion of a Blu-ray drive. [More on OXM]

The PS4 sold 45% faster than the Xbox One in the UK according to retail monitor Chart-Track. The console has sold over 500,000 since its UK release, with the Xbox One moving 364,000 in five weeks.

GTA V has passed 3.6 million sales in the UK.

The DayZ alpha has already sold over 400,000 units via Steam.

Tekken director Katsuhiro Harada is hoping to announce “2 or 3” new entries into the fighting genre in 2014. But they’re not Tekken related. [via Twitter]
