EA has ended a 15-year partnership with Tiger Woods for its golf game. The publisher also revealed that their next-gen entry into the golf series is still very much alive. [More on]

A web series for Ryse: Son of Rome has been spotted online. It is rated ‘M’ and will contain “blood and gore, intense violence, partial nudity, sexual content and strong language” and is “coming soon”. [More on Polygon]

Square Enix has considered asking Eidos to develop a game for the Final Fantasy series, indicating that a Western-developed title is not impossible. [More on OXM]

Earth Defense Force 2025 will be released in the West in February 2014 for Xbox 360 and PS3. There is a number of pre-order incentives available, details of which can be found here.

The PS4 will be getting Trine 2: Complete Story. No additional information about release dates were given, but you can read a little more on PlayStation Blog.

Sega is teasing a release today (29 October) with the hint that “guts will be _______”. CVG is guessing “Shenmue” is the answer.

The Witcher 3 will be distributed in Europe by Namco Bandai. And that’s all there is to say about the game at this time.

Not quite gaming related, but certainly zombie related. This past weekend saw the now annual Cape Town Zombie Walk shamble around the streets of the Mother City.
