Games

Blizzard appears to be considering a second expansion for Diablo 3. This suggestion is made via a survey from the developer that was posted by a NeoGAF member.

There is no console version of Hearthstone in development according to Blizzard, as the team is busy finishing Curse of Naxxramas and the upcoming Android version of the game. [More on Eurogamer]

Bungie suggests PC gamers “look forward to our future conversations around PC” for Destiny. The game will miss PC due to the lack of resources available to the team. [More on Eurogamer]

The US PlayStation Store sees a price cut on Japanese games this week. 24 games are discounted until 5 May in celebration of Golden Week. Full details can be found on the PlayStation Blog.

Velocity Ultra is free for PS Plus subscribers in the US from today.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will arrive for PC on 24 June.

Hardware

Microsoft has revealed its list of Xbox Originals coming this June. The Halo TV series, Humans ad various documentaries are “committed projects” with additional projects in development. The full list of content is available on Xbox Wire. On top of these titles, Shack News claims that Gears of War, Fable, State of Decay and Forza related TV shows have also been teased.

Microsoft has announced that Skype‘s group calling functionality is now available for free to Xbox One, PC and Mac users, with up to ten people able to take part in a single call session.

MLG and ESPN has announced the “first-ever MLG X Games Invitational at the inaugural X Games Austin from June 6-8, 2014″. It means that “MLG Pro Gamers will be awarded X Games medals and MLG’s Pro Circuit competition will be showcased with Skateboard, BMX, Moto X, Rally and Stadium SUPER Trucks, renowned musical performers and more.” [More on CVG]

Seven minutes of Destiny gameplay. According to a report of Polygon, progression saves can be transferred between last-gen and next-gen consoles. So if you start on the Xbox 360, and upgrade to the Xbox One later, all your hard work will be transferable.

UK retailer Game has revealed their pre-order incentive for Destiny. It’s an upgraded ‘Sparrow’ – the hover bikes used in the game.
