The PS4 has a day one firmware update that adds key features. The feature are so key in fact that it almost seems not doing the 300MB download will leave you with a genuinely fancy looking brick. The update to version 1.50 will enable online multiplayer, Remote Play, gameplay sharing, ‘play as you download’, party chat, Blu-ray and DVD playback, second screen capabilities and more. Free GTA Online content is expected in November. Rockstar has announced the ‘Beach Bum Pack’ which will bring “all-new beach themed vehicles and new weaponry that you’ll be able to use in both GTA Online and Story Mode”. The developer has also announced that “the first part” of the GTA Online Content Creator this autumn, which will let players create their own custom Deathmatch and Race Job multiplayer matches. It looks like there’s a delay with your GTA Online stimulus pack. Rockstar is not planning to deposit the funds into your in-game bank account until more bugs have been fixed in the game. It looks to be happening during the course of this week sometime. [More on Polygon]
