Assassin’s Creed Comet is the name of this year’s Xbox 360 and PS3 entry into the Assassin’s Creed universe. According to Kotaku sources, you will play as a Templar sailor sailing along the east coast of the US.

Sony has “nothing to say on the subject” of The Last of Us coming to the PS4. That means they’re neither denying or confirming the rumours from a few days ago. [More on Eurogamer]

The Predator will be making a cameo appearance in the next bit of DLC for Call of Duty Ghosts. The reveal was made in a teaser trailer for the ‘Devastation’ DLC which arrives on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 3 April.

The delay of Watch Dogs has meant that some things planned for the sequel will now be present and correct in the game when it releases on 27 May. [More on CVG]

Titanfall‘s PC anti-cheat measures are now in action with cheaters being banished to “something that will resemble the Wimbledon of aimbot contests”. [More on CVG] Respawn is also working on improving the game’s matchmaking, which it hopes will address a “lack of variety” in teams. [More on the official site]

The Achievements for Murdered: Soul Suspect have been revealed. You can score 1000 Gamerscore across 48 Achievements.

The Battlefield 4 Commander app has been updated. The full list of fixes can be found here, with VOIP support on Xbox One coming “soon”.

Devil’s Third will eventually be revealed this year, and the logo has been updated. You can see it on Facebook.

A limited edition Final Fantasy XIV PS4 is being released in Japan to coincide with the game’s launch on the console on 14 April. The console – which features an engraving – will be limited to 1,400.

Meanwhile, the ‘Through the Maelstrom’ update is now available for the PS3 and PC versions of Final Fantasy XIV. Patch 2.2 introduces new dungeons, fresh Hard Mode dungeons, and more.

Hand of Fate – the crowdfunded card trading RPG originally announced for PC, Mac and Linux – will now release for PS4 and Vita. [More on PlayStation Blog]

Halo: Spartan Assault will be available on Steam from 4 April and will cost $4.99.

Nosgoth is now available on Steam’s Early Access. Access to the game can be gained by buying one of six ‘Founders Packs’, which range in price from £12/$20 to £81/$135. The game will be free-to-play in the future when it enters its open beta. [More on CVG]

Football Manager Classic 2014 will be arriving on the PS Vita on 11 April and will allow players to carry on a single continuous game (between PC and Vita) thanks to the title’s cloud save features.


The UK’s games industry will be getting tax breaks as from 1 April. That can only mean more games will be made in the UK – and that’s no bad thing. [More on CVG]

Epic Games had no plans to develop any more games in the Gears of War series, which is why they sold the IP to Microsoft. [More on Polygon]

Facebook‘s shares have dropped 6.9% following its purchase of Oculus VR. [More on CVG] Oculus has also told Game Informer that it “didn’t expected it to be so negative” from fans.

GameStop has ended its plans to offer a cloud streaming service for games, and has shut down its cloud gaming department Spawn Labs. [More on GameSpot]

3D Realms has told Gearbox that they still own the Duke Nukem franchise license, so it looks like a long court battle is on the cards. [More on CVG]

Uncharted 4 game director, Justin Richmond, has left Naughty Dog and joined Riot Games. The development of Uncharted 4 is not affected. [More on IGN]
