Games

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will allow you to select the gender of your character in the campaign. Cutscenes will play out conscious of that fact and all characters will be voiced with gender in mind. If you’re looking for more details on the latest entry into the Call of Duty franchise, head here.

Konami has officially cancelled Silent Hills – the game that was set to feature Norman Reedus and made by Guillermo del Toro. Konami still plans to develop Silent Hill games and promises further announcements. [More…]

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has no loading screens according to CD Projekt RED’s Jonas Mattsson. The game is also almost entirely accessible without using fast travel, expect for one isolated location surrounded by water. [More…]

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is available for pre-load now. The game’s download is 37.41GB and the game releases on 5 May.

Minecraft on console will be getting a female character skin with the latest update (out this week). This will allow player to play as the “famous” Steve or Alex for free – or one of the multitude of DLC characters available for those that purchased them… Including The Simpsons skins which will be available this week for PlayStation for £3.29/€3.99.  [More…]

Star Wars: The Old Republic will be updated to version 3.2 – Rise of the Emperor – during the course of today. Full details of the update are available here, but be aware that you will need to be level 60 to take on the challenges in the update.

An official Halo tournament has been cancelled due to ongoing connectivity issues with Halo: The Master Chief Collection. No alternative date has been given for Cup #1 of Season 2 of the Halo Championship Series, and we assume it will cause 343 Industries to start working on another patch for the game. [More…]
