It appears a remaster of the original Gears of War is inbound. While no ‘Fenix Collection’ is likely, it seems at least the first entry into the franchise will be heading to Xbox One. A test build (reported on by Kotaku) is currently doing the rounds and shows off the updated multiplayer with modes such as Team Deathmatch; King of the Hill; One Life 1v1; Shotgun Team Deathmatch; 1v1 Sudden Death Gnashers Only; 4v4 Team Deathmatch Single Round; and 4v4 King of the Hill Single Round.

Just Cause 3 will reveal its debut gameplay trailer on Tuesday 28 April.

It appears as if Silent Hills has been canned. This follows an announcement that the game P.T. (a “playable teaser” to Silent Hills) will be removed from PSN on Wednesday 29 April. On Twitter, actor Norman Reedus confirmed a quote by Guillermo del Toro saying the game is “not gonna happen”.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 on Xbox One now supports online play in Raid Mode thanks to the latest patch, and Capcom is apologising for the delay by way of giving qualifying players 20,000 Raid points. There are also four new costumes available as part of the patch. [More…]

Valve has announced that it will add three additional annual tournaments for Dota 2 that will be  hosted by third-party organisers around the globe, and will be sponsored by Valve. On their website they go on to explain that |The Dota Major Championships, starting this fall, will be an annual series of four marquee tournaments, one being The International.”


The Call of Duty Black Ops 3 reveal trailer has been released and the game will be out on 6 November. Pre-ordering the game will get you access to the multiplayer beta. While the trailer indicates a game very close to Advanced Warfare and confirms a few details, other details pertaining to the game have also been leaked, including the return of zombies, a new movement system, specialist characters, co-op campaign and more. Screenshots are available here. The PC requirements for the game have also been revealed, and it seems the game may not be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and WiiU but only Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
