Several customers are reporting disc drive issues with their Xbox One. Xbox Support on Twitter suggested: “If you’re seeing those issues with the disc drive, can you please call our phone support.” [More on Kotaku]
Twitch is planning to add livestream archiving to the PS4 “in the future”. In fact, they are “considering” doing the same thing for Xbox One. [More on Joystiq]
MCV is reporting that Sony is planning a PS4/PS Vita ‘Ultimate Bundle’ for this Christmas.
The Call of Duty Ghosts ‘eSports’ update is now available for Xbox 360 and PS3. A number of other improvements have been made, including spawn points, etc. The update weighs in at around 106MB on Xbox 360. Full details here.
A 260MB update is now available for the Xbox 360 version for Battlefield 4. The multiplayer update features “a few stability improvements and crash fixes, coupled with miscellaneous minor tweaks”. [More on Battlelog]
A PS4 hotfix (on the server side) for the PS4 version of Battlefield 4 has been released to fix “three of the most common crash issues”, while a full title update expected this week to fix additional issues.
A Battlefield 4 double XP week is planned from 28 November until 5 December for every multiplayer match completed by players. This is by way of an apology for all the outages experienced since launch. Additionally, players that log in to the multiplayer on 5 December will get a M1911 pistol scope. [More on CVG]
“Big surprises” about Titanfall will be unveiled at the Spike VGX Awards on 7 December according to event host Geoff Keighley.
EA has issued a warning over FIFA 14 crashes on the Xbox One. A fix is underway and they have issued a statement on their website. EA warns Xbox One players that booting up FIFA 14 with two controllers, or allowing the console to enter sleep mode while on the FIFA 14 game menu, can result in connectivity problems or even game crashes.
The ‘disappointing’ NBA Live 14 will be getting “drastic and immediate improvements” according to EA CEO Andrew Wilson. [More on CVG]
The Xbox One exclusive from Insomniac, Sunset Overdrive, will be out in 2014. No fixed date has been announced.
Xbox One owners are also likely to get exclusive content for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Geoff Keighley said during the Spike TV Xbox One launch broadcast that “exclusive content” would be packaged with the Xbox One edition of Ground Zeroes. No details were given however. [More on CVG]

343 Industries principal engine architect, Corrinne Yu, has joined Naughty Dog, where she will be working on graphics coding on the PS4.
UK retailer GAME has promised buyers that new Xbox One orders will arrive by Christmas. They also said that they have “seen record pre-order numbers for the new generation consoles and looking at the initial response it’s clear that sales will easily surpass that delivered at the Xbox 360 launch.” [More on CVG]
The ‘Second Assault’ DLC for Battlefield 4 has launched on Xbox One as a timed exclusive. There is of course a launch trailer.
