GTA V for the PC has been delayed again. The new date of release is 14 April. The much anticipated Online Heists will be available for PC on the same day, while console versions of the free DLC will be available on 10 March. [More…]

Neverwinter will be released on 31 March for Xbox One as a free-to-play game for Gold members. It will launch with the base game, all current playable classes including the Scourge Warlock and the Tyranny of Dragons expansion. [More…]

A one-off £250,000 Dying Light “My Apocalypse” Collectors Edition has been announced. The edition contains – most importantly – a custom built zombie-proof home by Tiger Log Cabins, along with some other pretty different items such as ‘Zombie avoidance parkour lessons’, a trip to Techland in Wroclaw, Poland, your face in the game, night vision goggles (and adult diapers…), Razer Tiamat headphones and more. Sadly, the retail copy has been delayed in South Africa again. While the rest of the world will get the game this Friday, we have another week to wait.

This week’s Deals with Gold have kicked off and run until 2 March. On Xbox One, Thief, Sleeping Dogs, Assassin’s Creed IV and The Crew (silver credit pack) are discounted. The Xbox 360 offers a few Assassin’s Creed titles, Hitman Absolution, Thief and Sleeping Dogs. Details available here.

A new firmware update for the PS3 has been released. Update 4.70 is a mandatory one, but doesn’t fix much, other than switching to the new PlayStation Network icon and adding ‘Closed Caption’ support for Blu-Ray and DVD playback. [More…]

PlayStation is expected to drive Sony’s biggest profits since 1998. Shuhei Yoshida told Bloomberg that a diverse line-up of games has been key to the PS4’s success.

eSports

ESL has announced that “$1 million dollars in prize money is being allocated for its ESL One Dota 2 tournament series with minimum prize pools of $250,000 for each event.” Things kick off with ESL One Frankfurt 2015 and continues “at iconic stadiums and arenas from around the world this year.” [via Press Release]
