There is only a “50/50” chance of a sequel to The Last of Us happening. That’s according to Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann who did a recent Reddit AMA, where he went on to say should a sequel go ahead it won’t feature Joel and Ellie. He also said that he does “miss them dearly,” he’d like to see them again “in another medium”. [via CVG]
Crytek has decided to drop the ‘challenge editor’ that was planned for Ryse: Son of Rome‘s Gladiator mode. Speaking to Polygon, the developer said that they will “focus on improving and expanding fans’ experience with the game through both free content updates and purchased add-on packs.”
Xbox One gamers will be able to pre-install Titanfall before the title launches in March. According to the Titanfall listing on Xbox Live: “You may download the game from Xbox Live before [release], but it will not be playable until after 12:01 AM PST on the release date in your country.”
Microsoft is offering a one-year Xbox Live Gold subscription via the Microsoft Store at the discounted price of $39.99. Usually the product sells for $59.99.

Gearbox is planning to sue 3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment for alleged trademark violations due to their plans to develop Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction.
