Good morning all. We would like to bid you all a happy and safe festive season. If you’re so inclined, we bet you wished you hadn’t left your Christmas shopping until the last minute… again. At least we know where we can find some fresh meat today.
You should – according to Ster Kinekor – be able to pick up a PS4 before Christmas tomorrow. The distributor secured additional stock of the console for the country which should have arrived at retailers yesterday already. The PS4 has a recommended retail price of R6299.
There is a planned Call of Duty Ghosts update which will sort out some pretty major issues including the spawning in multiplayer. Weapon balancing will be improved, and a new game mode is being planned, as well as measures to clamp down on hacking and cheating. There’s plenty of other improvement planned (but no ETA) and they can be viewed here.
The Walking Dead Season Two has been delayed until early 2014 in some regions and one some platforms. A Telltale Games community moderator said: “We can confirm that The Walking Dead: Season Two will be coming to Russia and New Zealand on PlayStation 3 and to Ireland, Russia, and New Zealand on Xbox 360.”

Halo: Spartan Assault is now available on Xbox One. The Xbox One version of the game (originally released for Windows 8 devices) includes new 1080p/60fps visuals, Achievements, a cooperative game mode, new weapons and the inclusion of the “Operation Hydra” add-on, all at a cost of $14.99..
A new server update has rolled out for the PC version of Battlefield 4, which includes a quick fix for the ‘Obliteration’ bug. [More on CVG]
