Games

The retail version of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will only be released a week after the digital version of the game in Europe. The Xbox One and PC digital will be available on 5 May, with the PS4 version available on 6 May. The retail copy will be released (for all platforms) on 15 May.

It appears as if the Overlord series is about to make a return. Codemasters tweeted an image of the iconic Overlord helmet with the words: “Ohhh shi……. RUNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!”

Cortana will appear in Halo 5: Guardians in some role. That’s according to voice actor Mike Colter.
The Halo 5 teaser site is now live and features an episodic investigation into the truth about Master Chief.

Bloodborne has fewer weapons than Dark Souls, but director Hidetaka Miyazaki reckons players shouldn’t find this limiting, as each weapon can be customised. [More…]

ESL has announced that the Season 1 Finals for StarCraft 2 World Championship Series will be held at Gamers Assembly in Poitiers, France from 3-5 April. Up for grabs will be a total prize pool of $217,000.

Spectator tickets for the Dota 2 The International tournament will go on sale this week (from 27 March). The International takes place on 3 to 8 August, and if you’re keen to attend, ticket details can be found here.
