Games

Battlefield Hardline has been delayed to 2015 to “take more time to ensure Hardline is the best, most innovative Battlefield experience we [Visceral Games] can.” [More…]

Dragon Age: Inquisition has also been delayed, but only until 18 November in North America and 21 November in Europe. The delay is to allow BioWare “to create the best Dragon Age experience ever.” [More…]

The Destiny beta is now available for Xbox gamers – a day earlier than expected – and the PlayStation versions are back online after maintenance. Bungie is also promising “some surprises in store, and if you play on Saturday, July 26th beginning at 2pm PDT, we’ve got a permanent reward on reserve that will commemorate the experience.”

The ‘Crown of the Sunken King’ DLC for Dark Souls 2 is available to download now on Xbox 360 and PC at a price of £7.99. The PS3 version should be available worldwide later today.

The first 100 cars for Forza Horizon 2 have been revealed and feature cars from the 1963 Volkswagen Type 2 De Luxe to the 2015 Lamborghini Huracán. You can view the full list here.

The latest DLC for GRiD Autosport has been released, and Codemasters has detailed the upcoming patch for the game. The ‘Best of British’ DLC pack is priced at £2.39 / $2.99 and brings three new vehicles: McLaren F1 GTR, Aston Martin V12 Zagato and Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722. Freedom Wars will be available at retail in Europe for the PS Vita, but no date has been announced.

This week’s Deals with Gold are now live, and Xbox One gamers can get 25% off Killer Instinct Ultra and Powerstar Golf. On Xbox 360, there’s a wide range of titles and extras discounted by between 25% to 80%, including Injustice: Gods Among Us, Darksiders, Batman and more. Full details here.

Microsoft shipped 1.1 million Xbox consoles (that’s Xbox 360 and Xbox One) in the quarter which ended 30 June, which is up from the same period last year.
