A new GTA Online update was released just before the weekend for both PS3 and Xbox 360. The title update is aimed at fixing vehicle loss issues and other problems. Full details of the patch are available here.

Games with Gold has been extended. Microsoft has announced that the two free games a month for Xbox Live Gold Subscribers will now be “an ongoing benefit” on Xbox 360. Until the end of October, you can get Halo 3 for no additional cost (other than your Gold subscription fee). [More on Xbox Wire]

The headset adapter for the Xbox One will only be available in “early 2014” according to Microsoft. The adapter will also be required for new third-party headsets and not just old ones. [More on CVG]

DICE is promising their “deepest online career ever” with Battlefield 4. While similar to Battlefield 3, there will be “a cleaner upgrade path, clearer Ribbon and Medal progression, and an increased focus on richly rewarding great team play.” [More on Battlefield Blog]

Bungie will be posting beta codes for Destiny from this week. You will need to follow them on Twitter or like them on Facebook.

Microsoft has revealed that sales of the Xbox 360 has gone passed 80 million units worldwide since its launch in November 2005.

GTA V is now available on Xbox Live Games on Demand. It costs you $59.99 and is a download of 7.63GB.

Rockstar is reportedly working on the “next version of a famous IP” according to a LinkedIn profile of Senior Graphics Engineer Doron Feinstein. [via AllGamesBeta]

The Wii U, PC and 3DS versions of Batman Arkham Origins has been delayed by two weeks in the UK. The game will be available for those platforms on 8 November. The delay has been confirmed for South Africa too, but only for the same platforms. The Xbox 360, PS3 and PC digital version will be available on 25 October.
