A new patch for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare has been released for Xbox One and PS4 which addresses connectivity optimisations, some multiplayer and Exo Survival fixes, among other things. Details can be found here.

Halo: Master Chief Collection‘s patch which was expected earlier this week should now be available. The update improves matchmaking performance, UI, gameplay, and other title-specific issues. [More…]

New environments, characters and weapons have been unveiled for Bloodborne via PlayStation Blog.

A free update has been released for Trials Fusion and adds Teams to the game which allows players to “form Teams to compete against rivals and work their way up the Teams leaderboard by boosting their Team score.” Each team can have up to 50 members. Online multiplayer will also be heading to the game in early 2015.

Free-to-play mobile strategy game Call of Duty: Heroes is now available on iTunes and Windows Phone. It features a single-player campaign, competitive multiplayer and a survival mode, and you are able to form alliances with friends and distribute troops to one another.

Consoles & Hardware

HBO GO is now available for the Xbox One, but for US residents only. And don’t expect anywhere else soon. A Microsoft representative told Eurogamer: “HBO GO on Xbox One is available to all HBO subscribers in the U.S. who authenticate through participating cable providers. We’ve nothing to add beyond that.”


Microsoft is giving Xbox One owners free gifts in celebration of the console’s one year birthday. This Saturday, anyone who bought the console before 11 November and opted in to marketing emails from the company will get gift bundle featuring a Gamer Picture, Xbox One backgrounds, a free rental of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn and a free rental of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods movie. Additionally, some random winners will win console bundles, Gold membership and more.
