Games

A supposed survey has revealed some details about Mass Effect 4. These details can be found here, but remember, nothing is official until confirmed by the developers or publishers. You are “far removed by time and space” of Mass Effect 3 in the “Helius cluster to establish a new home for humanity.”

Project CARS has gone gold, making the release date of 8 May just a little more real. The full track list has also been revealed and features Spa, Nurburgring, Monza, Hockenheimring, and whole lot more… in fact over 110 different courses.

A new patch for Dark Souls 2 will fix the weapon degradation glitch that also affected the game’s framerate. [More…]

Ultra Street Fighter IV will be releasing for PS4 on 26 May. The port will feature the game and all the DLC and fighters previously made available for the other versions of the game. It will retail for $24.99.

Life is Strange Episode 3 will be released in May, but the exact date is still “TBA”. [via Twitter]

Goat Simulator is now available for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Not much more to say about that.

Microsoft has confirmed that Phil Harrison is leaving them to “pursue business interests outside of Microsoft.”

The creator of Borderlands, Matt Armstrong, has left Gearbox to begin what he calls “adventure time.”

Valve has a new policy restriction on Steam which protects users from phishing scams and spam, by limiting user accounts which have spent less than $5 through the store. [More…]

A leak of information about the Uncharted movie reveals that Sony wants the movie to never be “goofy or silly” but still be a little like National Treasure.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be released on 17 November and will probably feature everything you’ve probably ever wanted in a Star Wars game. The game will not feature a traditional campaign but “crafted missions” available for single player, or co-op via split-screen (offline) and online. It will feature a 40 player cap, with various modes featuring different player caps. [More…]
The game will run at 60fps and will feature “split-screen is for local play only.” There will also be AI bots both on and offline.

A free content update for Helldivers is heading “soon” to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
