Breakfast Wrap 04In SA it’s an after holiday hangover.  Well let us help you ease in to the remainder of the week with this news you may have missed yesterday.

First up, Call of Duty: Ghosts is real and arrives 5 November on PC, current generation consoles and next-generation consoles.  We’re assuming the release on next Xbox and PS4 will be after that date however.  On 21 May, the full reveal trailer for the game will arrive along with the next Xbox announcement.  We think that means that Microsoft and Activision will continue their Call of Duty love affair for now then.

The EU PlayStation Store has been updated with its new items.  There’s the rather special Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon among the items released today along with the free games added for Plus members, including Hitman Absolution.  For the full list head to the EU PlayStation Blog.

Square Enix will launch Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in the Northern Hemisphere summer on PC and PS3.  The third closed beta will also be adding PS3 users for the first time in June.

If you’re in the US in August, you will be able to get your opportunity to get your hands on the PS4 at the annual GameStop Expo. [via CVG]

Two new trailers have been released for The Last of Us.  They showcase the two UK special editions which may or may not be coming to SA.

Codemasters have released a new trailer for Grid 2 which demonstrates its new ‘LiveRoutes’ feature.  This – for most of us – basically means dynamically changeable racetracks.

Harmonix has restored full harmony on their websites following a security breach which put them offline since last month.  More details via Rockband.com.

Warner Bros. Montreal are looking for a next-gen expert to help with “expanding the DC Comics universe in the interactive space”.  What that means is that the Batman: Arkham Origins studio is looking for a creative director with expertise in “next-generation AAA action/adventure games”.  If that’s you, then head here.
