PSA: There is scheduled maintenance on PSN today from from 18:50 until 00:30 SA time. Services such as PS Store, PS Home and Account Management will be inaccessible during the maintenance, but online gameplay will be available to users who have recently signed in to their PSN account and have their authentication details cached.


June’s Games with Gold titles have been confirmed. On 1 June, Dark Souls will be available for Xbox 360, and will be followed by Charlie Murder and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition on 16 June. The free FIFA 14 update for the Xbox One and PS4 which introduces the World Cup Kick Off mode is now available. The mode features all 32 national teams competing in Brazil, the Estadio do Maracana stadium, and the official Adidas Brazuca match ball. The Ultimate Team update for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One should also now be available.

Five new maps have joined the multiplayer in Ryse: Son of Rome. The Morituri Pack includesthree new Gladiator mode arenas, as well as two Survival mode maps and costs $7.99.

MotoGP 14 will be available for Xbox 360, PC, PS3, PS Vita and PS4 on 20 June.

The Wolf Among Us has been confirmed for release on the PS4 and Xbox One. The game will arrive “later this year” and will be available as a retail disc for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Also coming to retail is both seasons of The Walking Dead. [More…]

An Xbox One screenshot sharing feature is in the works. So says Mr. Phil Spencer.

Sony has revealed a new PS Vita bundle scheduled for release in late June. The bundle will cost €199.99, and will include the handheld, an 8GB memory card and five games (Injustice: Gods Among Us, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, God of War: Chains of Olympus and Killzone: Liberation). The bundle will be available in Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland, UK, Bulgaria, Croatia, Iceland, France, Greece, Poland, Russia, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Spain. Gamers in Australia, New Zealand, UK, South Africa, Germany, Cyprus, Portugal, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Spain can pick up an 8GB memory card and a PlayStation Store voucher code to download the five action games for €39.99.
