Data in the latest Titanfall update has eluded to new game modes that may be coming to the game. The modes listed include already released modes like Wingman Last Titan Standing and Marked for Death, along with Titan Tag, Capture the Titan, Bodyguard (TITAN_ESCORT) and Big Brother. [More…]

Doom will be revealed exclusively to attendees of QuakeCon this year, with everyone else getting the information and details “at a later date”. The event is open to the public (17 to 20 July) and is free of charge, but all attendees must pre-register.

Details of the Deep Down beta are expected to be revealed in July. As to when the beta itself will appear is difficult to guess considering it’s been delayed since February.

John Cena has been announced as the cover star for WWE 2K15, making it his sixth appearance as the franchise cover star. [via Twitter]

Top-down, twin-stick shooter Crimsonland will release for PS4 on 15 July. The game will feature sixty campaign missions with three difficulty settings, five survival modes with leaderboards for single player and 2-4 player local co-op, as well as 30 weapons and 55 perks.

Natural Doctrine has been dated for release in the west. The game will be available for PS3, PS4 and Vita on 16 September in North America and 19 September in Europe.

Warface has been released on Steam, paving “the way for a new audience to discover the game’s engrossing cooperative and competitive action; completely for free.” [More…]

Ultima Underworld creator Paul Neurath has announced a new studio, OtherSide Entertainment, who will be creating Underworld Ascension. More details are promised in the coming months.

Consoles & Hardware

Xbox One gamers can view their profiles on Xbox.com. All features available to Xbox 360 profiles on the website are now available for Xbox One profiles.

The recent PS update (4.60) added wireless support for the DualShock 4, dropping the need to use the USB cable. You will need to choose the Bluetooth device via the console’s settings. [More…]

Sales & Deals

This week’s Deals with Gold have been announced, and they generally focus on stealthiness. Thief and a number of Assassin’s Creed content is discounted on the Xbox One, while Assassin’s Creed and Arcade titles (including Child of Light, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger and more) is discounted on the Xbox 360. The US PS Store update is now live and brings Sniper Elite 3, along with six new Instant Game Collection titles for PS Plus members. There’s also a number of games on discount, including Call of Duty, Rocksmith 2014 and more. Full details are available here.

Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono is – according to his LinkedIn profile – working on an unannounced game for PS4. The profile has been edited since being spotted by NeoGAF readers to remove the reference to PS4 exclusivity.

A Tomb Raider novel entitled ‘The Ten Thousand Immortals’ is due in October and will bridge the syory between the first and second game.
