Games

Project Cars has been delayed by two weeks and will now be released on 2 April. Slightly Mad Studios said that the “extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April”.

World of Tanks will be heading to Xbox One this year. The current-gen version will support cross-platform play with the Xbox 360 edition. User accounts will also be shared between versions, so existing 360 players can carry over their account and continue where they had left off. [More…]

Mortal Kombat X isn’t even out yet, but already the rumours have started. According to a Videogamer.com source, a ‘Predator’-themed DLC pack will be released in June and will feature the Predator as a playable character.

A number of new titles have been added to a sale on the PlayStation Store. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Battlefield 4 Premium Edition, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Destiny and more is available for (at times heavily) discounted prices. eSports

UK eSports organisation Gfinity has lifted the lid on its new Gfinity Arena. The venue will be a transformed Vue cinema in Fulham Broadway, and will feature three custom-built stages. It will be able to hold over “600 gaming fanatics, offering the comfiest seats found in eSports” when it opens in March. [More…]

A new report is suggesting that eSports will make at least $465 million and  have an audience of 335 million by 2017.

The March Xbox One Update looks set to bring a number of new features, including the long-awaited screenshots. Also inbound is friend suggestions, tile transparency and more.

The Bizarro World Pack is now available for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham on the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The DLC  features the “Bizarro League in an all-new story level with more characters, free play mode, an exclusive vehicle and more.”

A new patch for World of Warcraft will be released on 24 February. The patch (6.1) will add colourblind filters and optional text tips to the game.
