The merc with the mouth has been dated for release.  Deadpool will be out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on 25 June in the US.  While the European and UK date has not been confirmed yet, you can expect it that Friday – 28 April.

Some heavy hitters are coming to the Instant Game Collection on PS Plus in May.  Hitman: Absolution is the big one, with Catherine, Sine Mora and Velocity Ultra HD joining on 1 May.

Meanwhile, over in Xbox 360 land, a number of Arcade games have been discounted by at least 50%.   Grab the following while they’re cheap:

Square Enix looks ready to give out some new Final Fantasy Versus XIII info.  The game’s director Tetsuya Nomura said (via Gematsu): “I’m sorry it’s overdue, please wait just a little more.”

Platinum Games boss Tatsuya Minami has said he is disappointed with the commercial performance of the studio and thinks the studio must amplify its global appeal.  He also would like to get more platform-exclusive deals. [via Polygon]

Valve has apparently offered a gamer a full refund for BioShock Infinite after he lodged a complaint on religious grounds.  “Devout Christian”, Breen Malmberg, objected to a scene early in the game where the player must acquiesce to a baptism in order to continue. [via Kotaku]

Bethesda has released a second slightly odd teaser trailer for a game that is apparently not Fallout 4.  It’s all a little cryptic now.

Are you afraid of the DARK?  Do you even know about DARK?  Neither do we, but we’re now a little more intrigued by this vampire game with RPG elements after watching this skills trailer.  The game is out this “Summer” [Northern Hemisphere] on Xbox 360 and PC.

A new trailer for Telltale Games’ Poker Night 2 shows off some of the unlockable items available, which includes skins from games such as Borderlands 2.

It seems EA‘s downsizing is happening worldwide.  A few days ago, it was revealed that the Irish wing of the publisher was seeing redundancies.  Now it is the time for an unannounced number of layoffs in their India and UK branches. [via CVG]
