The latest patch for Assassin’s Creed Unity has been delayed to ensure Ubisoft gives you “the improvements we’ve promised”. This is being delayed as the improvements require “that we refurbish the Paris map and that will take a few more days to hit the high level of quality our players deserve.”
CD Project Red has revealed ‘Ciri’ as the new female playable character in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt alongside Geralt. She is a “descendant in a long-lost Elven-blood lineage” and “plays an important role in the Witcher lore”. [More…]

Part 8 of the PS Store 12 Deals of Christmas campaign is now live until 11:59am GMT on Wednesday. The Evil Within on PS4 and PS3 and The Walking Dead on PS Vita are the featured titles. Details are available here.
The Xbox Store is celebrating “the Countdown to 2015 with daily and weekly deals on games and video” on both Xbox One and Xbox 360. You will need to keep up with Major Nelson on Twitter or his blog to keep up to date on the daily deals. The Deals with Gold weekly sale includes discounts on The Crew bundled with either Assassin’s Creed Unity or Far Cry 4 (Xbox One), Titanfall (Xbox 360) and plenty more.
Xbox Gold members can now download SSX as the rest of December’s Games with Gold title.

Capcom has announced DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition. It will be available via digital download and retail for the PS4 and Xbox One from 17 March 2015 at a MSRP of $39.99 / €39.99.
