There are no plans to sell GTA Online separately from GTA V. While Rockstar may consider GTA Online as a “separate entity”, it will still only be available with a purchase of GTA V. GTA V launches 17 September, while GTA Online will follow two weeks later on 1 October. GTA Online will “come free with every copy of GTA V and doesn’t require a code, online pass, or anything like that.” [More on Polygon]

Turn 10 Studios has revealed a Limited Edition and Day One Edition of Forza Motorsport 5. Both come with a variety of DLC while the Limited Edition also includes ‘VIP Membership’ which includes 2x player reward acceleration, access to exclusive multiplayer events, an exclusive in-game player card badge, and in-game gifts from the “Forza” community team, as well as access to the “Forza Motorsport 5” VIP Car Pack. Microsoft have stated that you can import an Xbox One. According to a statement [via Eurogamer]: “When the console launches this November, we will support Xbox One in 13 markets. Xbox One may be used in all countries, including the non-launched markets. In addition, Xbox One games are not region locked. Any Xbox One game purchased at retail can be used in any country on any Xbox One. That said, there needs to be a valid payment method corresponding to a supported launch country in order for any transactions to occur over Xbox Live, and some content may not be accessible outside launch markets due to geographic content restrictions imposed by content right holders.”
Sony has reached a preliminary deal with Viacom for an online pay-TV service. This could mean (if your country allows it) channels such as Comedy Central, MTV, BET, CMT, VH1, Nickelodeon, and Spike will be available via your PlayStation. [More on The Verge]

Ubisoft appear to have registered domain names which point to the name of their unannounced next-gen game. Fusible have spotted the domain names Fighter-Within.com and FighterWithinGame.com, pointing to a likely name of Fighter Within.
Rumour has it that Prey 2 is in development at Arkane Studios (developers of Dishonored). The information comes via an email Kotaku have seen that was sent by Arkane creative director Raphael Colantonio to internal staff, which appears to confirm the company’s acquisition of the project in May.

The PS4 will make $1.2 billion a year from PS Plus according to research firm IHS Electronics and Media. The firm says that Xbox Live has made $5 billion in 11 years, with PS Plus scoring $140 million in 2012 to Microsoft’s $1.25 billion – a difference that will be closed with the pay-to-play requirement of the PS4 and PS Plus. Play Asia is listing an unannounced Castlevania Lords of Shadow Collection for PS3 and Xbox 360. A CS: GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) update has added ‘The Arms Dealer’, which allows players “for the first time to collect, buy, sell and trade decorated weapons that they can equip in-game.” Weapons Cases have also been added which are timed drops in-game and includes an eSports Weapon Case. A portion of the proceeds from sales of eSports Case Keys going towards prize purses at competitive events.
