Microsoft is teasing a “unique exclusive” for Xbox One to be revealed at Gamescom. If you’re at Gamescom, you will also be able to try out Titanfall, which will be there in a playable version. [More on CVG]

The Xbox One can detect and prevent itself from overheating. It does this by reducing its power usage. It’s a little more technical than that we think, and you can read more on Gizmodo.

Microsoft exec Zulfi Alam has said that the Kinect on Xbox One can function as a biometric controller. [More on CVG] Not that the Kinect is even needed anymore.

Morrigan [*swoon*] will not be a party member in Dragon Age: Inquisition, but she will have a “significant role” to play in the game. According to BioWare’s Mike Laidlaw, the “story of Inquisition is [Morrigan’s] moment, which is a good way to think about it.” [More on Game Informer]

What’s coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace over the next week or so? No all that much actually, other than Dishonored DLC and Halo 4 DLC and some other stuff. All of the stuff is on Major Nelson.

Nvidia have claimed in an earning’s call that GTA V is coming to PC this Fall. [More on AllGamesBeta] In the wait until the game arrives on Xbox 360 and PS3 (and maybe PC), Rockstar has released some snapshots from Los Santos and its surrounds. There’s apparently a thriving economy, affordable healthcare and cars “at your fingertips”.
