A plethora of details have emerged about GTA Online via a Game Informer article. CVG has summarized it all here. Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies has specifically said that GTA Online is just “a beginning” and that they hope “to create an entire Grand Theft Auto world that consists of everything we’ve done or are going to do then let the player freely move between them.”

Namco is developing a free-to-play Soul Calibur title for PS3. No date for Soul Calibur: Lost Swords has been given but more details will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show. The title feature numerous famous fighters including Siegfried and Mitsurugi. [via Press Release]

The cover for FIFA 14 in the UK (and the one we will most likely get in SA) has been changed and now features a closed mouth Gareth Bale in a Real Madrid shirt. Controversy over no Premier League player featuring next to Lionel Messi is sure to follow. [More on CVG]

Co-op and the first Psycho details for Dead Rising 3 have been released by Capcom. Dick is a truck driver that finds himself at “the wrong diner on the wrong day” and will feature in a non-linear campaign, meaning you can join a player’s game even if they are well ahead of you in the story. The first Psycho revealed is ‘Greed’. All the Psychos are “modelled after the seven deadly sins”. [More on AllGamesBeta] The game’s map has also been revealed. It’s not small.

Ducktales: Remastered is now available on Xbox Live.

Ex-Epic president Mike Capps has joined Remedy’s (Alan Wake) board of directors. [More on GI International]

US retailer Target will launch its new video digital distribution service, Target Ticket, for Xbox 360 among other platforms. It is expected on 1 October but may even launch “sooner”. [More on CVG]


The EU PlayStation Store has seen its weekly update, with Hitman Absolution being the ‘Deal of the Week’ a fraction of normal asking price. Otherwise, the FIFA 14, Diablo 3 and PES 2014 demos are available, along with plenty more other content.
