Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed until ‘Spring 2016’. This gives the developers “a few extra months” to “make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not only meets the team’s high standards, but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title.” [More…]

GTA Online Heists have arrived, but sadly it wasn’t without issues. Xbox Live players seemed to be worse hit, with issues such as joining games, downloading already owned content, and issues signing in reported. All service does appear to be back to normal now however. [More…]

Project Cars has been delayed. Again. The game is now only expected around mid-May for PS4, Xbox One and PC. “Dedication to polishing the game” is the reason given for the delay. Free content is being offered to everyone as a way of compensating for the continued delays. [More…]

A number of changes have been implemented for Battlefield Hardline since the game’s beta. The changes include weapon tuning, class balancing and more.

Square Enix is allowing you to decide what you want to see in the Just Cause 3 collector’s edition. Options include a backpack, statue, diecast cars and more. You can cast your vote here.

Consoles & Hardware

A few more details about the upcoming PS4 firmware update (2.50 and codenamed ‘Yukimura’) which is currently in beta testing have been revealed (and the update confirmed by Sony), including suspend/resume, accessibility options, and more.

Industry

The first three episodes of Powers is now available for PS Plus subscribers, with the first episode available for (almost) everyone on Youtube. Sadly, certain countries and regions are excluded from that ‘everyone’.

Sony reportedly plans to soft launch its internet-based TV service, PlayStation Vue, within the next two weeks. The service is expected to by rolled out across the US by the end of 2015.

Sony will be shutting down PlayStation Mobile starting 15 July, with all access being closed on 30 November. However, they warn that you should re-download “all of the games that you want to keep, because after 10th September 2015 you will not be able to re-download your purchased content.”

Turkey is looking to ban Minecraft. State agency, Family and Social Policies Ministry (not the Fun Ministry clearly), is considering the ban due to violence and the risk of “social isolation” for kids playing the game online… [More…]
